The Newlywed Notebook where I documented the final few stages of planning my wedding and the first few years of my marriage. Since then I've discovered my love for writing, photography, and all things design. I am by no means an expert; far from it actually, but I'm working on not letting my fear of missing perfection keep me from the things I enjoy.

So in the spirit of documenting both the good and the not-so-good, I can promise you that this blog will not always be made up of perfectly timed photos of hair flips and glitter projects worthy of the front page of Pinterest, but please do know that it will be always be a place of overall positivity and authenticity. LIFE UPDATE #1: Our infertility journey (coming soon) was a long one, but in April of 2016 we finally found out I was pregnant! (coming soon). Make sure you read all about our action packed labor story here (coming soon). We have been blessed beyond measure by our little guy and are so grateful to God for this miracle baby!As I'm sure is the experience of most new parents, our first month with Davis was a very eye opening one and a huge learning curve as we powered through breastfeeding issues (link coming soon) and sleepless nights (link coming soon). But around week six we turned a corner, settled into our little parenting groove, and are now loving every second of this new life! We are so excited to experience and share all our adventures as a family of three!
